Kurts Early Life

• Kurt Donald Cobain was born February 20, 1969 in
  Aberdeen, Washington, a couple of hundred of
  miles away form Seattle.
• Most of his life, Kurt lived in Aberdeen
  ,Washington, a small, depressed logging town.
• Cobain was a happy child, always smiling,
  energetic, talented and creative.
• Cobain was referred to as a hyperactive child and
  was given Ritalin to help concentrate in school,
  and given sedatives to sleep at night.
• From a young age, Kurt loved music. He was
  enthralled by Britains Sex Pistols at the age of
  11.

Early Adolescents

• As Kurt was growing out of childhood, his
  resentment for his parents intensified.
• He slowly became more introverted and quiet.
• No single event in his life had more of influence
  in shaping his life than that of his parents
  divorce. He internalized the divorce and blamed
  it on himself.
• At the age of 14, he got his first guitar from
  his uncle and taught himself how to play.

Difficult times.

• When Kurts parents divorced
• His drug use. One of his friends commented in the
  book that, he was always pushing it, using just
  a little bit more than anyone else, and taking
  more as soon as he was no longer high.-Steve

• He actually overdosed numerous times.
• His suicidal thoughts. Ryan Aigner, a childhood
  friend recognized the torment inside of Kurt
  He was the shape of suicide. He looked like
  suicide, he walked like suicide, and he talked
  about suicide.
• The abandonment of his parents and family.
• Despite Kurts external and internal
  circumstances, Kurts inner artistic life was
  growing by leaps and bounds.

• The Original Band included Chad Channing, Krist
  Noveslic and Kurt Cobain
• The official band included Dave Grohl on the
  drums instead of Chad Channing

Kurts Suicide

• Kurt had danced with the thought of suicide since
  his early adolescents.
• Kurts deep depression and uncontrollable drug
  use had taken its final toll.
• On April 6, 1994, Kurt did what hed thought
  about doing for years.
• He bought 100 worth of Mexican Black-tar heroin
  and injected it. As everything was becoming hazy,
  he grabbed the heavy shotgun, put it to the roof
  of his mouth and pulled the trigger. And then he
  was gone.
