INTRODUCTION
CHARACTERISTIC
  • It's a 3D game in a third person perspective,
    which mixes the real world and the unreal world.
    Apart from that, this game is an adventure game
    with some R.O.L aspects.
  • The game will be a multiplatform game, be able to
    play it on PSX2, XBOX and on Game Cube
  • This game could be for people who love cinema or
    maybe those who want to learn while playing. This
    game is a mix of education and entertainment.
  • The Seventh Art Spirit will be a game for
    everyone who is older than sixteen years old.
  • In the game there are games inside by popular
    films of Steven Spielberg, like Jurassic Park
    or Indiana Jones, which including parts of
    those films. The game mix different genres.

STORY OF THE COMPUTER GAME
  • The Seventh Art Spirit takes place in the year
    2175. The humans live on the same way form that
    we know nowadays, but on the base of new
    technologies
  • The cinema loses popularity down and nobody is
    interesting in maintaining it
  • But just there is a secret Community called The
    Seven Art Spirit which works saving the cinema.
  • Two students who are very interested in this art
    are visiting a museum in Hollywood. There they
    meet the guide of the Community and with his help
    the character will be able to go inside the
    screen and to pass different levels which are
    different Spielberg's films.
  • Regardless at the beginning the Community seems
    like a bad character, they just want to keep the
    films of Spielberg and to make tests to the
    character. They want to be sure that the
    character is really interested in the cinema.
  • The character has to pass different levels to
    take different films of Steven Spielberg and each
    level is based on a film that the director has
    made

  • In each level, the character has to find a
    specific film of Steven Spielberg. Between the
    levels, the character has to answer different
    questions about the real filmography of Spielberg
  • At the end, the big prize will be the possibility
    of taking part of The Seventh Art Spirit, one
    interactive community that shares a lot of
    information, prizes, and different things about
    cinema, but in the real life.
  • To sum this up, the mission of the character is
    to arrive to the end of the game after entering
    to different movies of Steven Spielberg and
    fighting, avoiding difficult problems and
    answering different questions about Spielberg.

LEVELS INDIANA JONES
  • STORY
  • When the character meets the guide, they go
    inside a dark room, inside a real cinema. Here a
    strong light appears and he is captured inside
    the first level of the game, which is the movie
    of Indiana Jones.

  • Steve appears in Egypt in the year 1983
  • Exactly he appears in a Bazaar in The Cairo
  • MISSIONS
  • The mission of the character is to find in Egypt
    the holy grail, although the character instead of
    taking the Calyx, at the end, he finds the
    Indiana Jones film of Steven Spielberg.
  • SUBMISSIONS
  • Investigate in the Bazaar about the holy grail
  • Rescue the daughter of a moron from a big castle.
  • Find a map in the Bazaar to know where the castle
    is.
  • Buy matches or a lighter in the Bazaar.
  • Manage to enter to the castle

  • Rescue and give the daughter to her father to
    take and read the story of the Calyx.
  • Go inside a pyramid.
  • Get a map of the pyramid.
  • Jump through the rocks with only some vines.
  • Find the book of the film
  • Take the film of Indiana Jones
  • Finally, the character appears again in the
    cinema and he has a conversation with the guide.
    Here, he has to answer some questions that the
    guide asks him to pass to the next level ( that
    will happened at the and of each level).

  • Jurassic Park
  • Steve appears inside the Hawaii Island.
  • MISSION
  • The character has to find 4 eggs in different
    parts of Hawaiis Island. Apart from that, his
    final mission consists to find Jurassic Parks
    film.
  • SUBMISSIONS
  • Find information about what is happening with the
    dinosaurs.
  • Take the document which explains the story of the
    eggs.
  • Drive a Jeep and go to different parts of
    Hawaiis Island to take the four eggs.
  • When he is going to take the fourth egg, he has
    to disconnect all the wire fences.

  • Answer correctly some questions to be possible
    for him to open the doors.
  • Drive his Jeep faster than the Tyrannosaurus Rex.
  • Take the turbo that there are in the way.
  • He has to avoid the trees and the piles of sand
    that there will be in the route.
  • Find the book of the film
  • Take the film of Jurassic Park

  • E.T.
  • Steve appears inside a small cottage in
    Greenland and he discovers a spaceship
  • MISSION
  • The character has to find three objects in
    Greenland (apples, an electronic game and a
    hanger) to help E.T. to go its home. Apart from
    that, his final mission will be to find E.Ts
    film.
  • SUBMISSION
  • He has to ask to some Eskimos where he can find
    different objects.
  • Apart from the Eskimos, he has to ask different
    question to take those objects to other habitants
    of the town (a woman, a carpenter...).
  • He has to go down town with E.T. to find a
    mechanic because the spaceship of E.T. is broken.
  • They have to pass in front of a bar, where a
    radio which works with batteries is switched on.

  • They have to take the batteries to repair the
    spaceship.
  • He sees the police going to the spaceship.
  • He has to take the bike which is parked beside
    them.
  • He puts E.T. in the basket of his bike.
  • He has to ride a bike faster than the police
    until the spaceship.
  • He has to look after E.T. because it goes in the
    basket of the bike.
  • Find the book of the film.
  • Taking E.T.s film

AT THE END
  • Once Steve passes all the levels and returns
    agian to the cinema, he will be able to watch all
    the movies of Spielberg.
  • The guide congratulates him and says to Steve
    that he is going to take part of The Seventh Art
    Spirit.
  • The guide gives him a password and with this
    password Steve will be able to register on a
    website in order to have to watch the making offs
    of the game, to receive news about next games

NON-PLAYING CHARACTERS
  • The difficulty of the game is growing up in each
    level
  • All the levels are setting in different films of
    Steven Spielberg, and all of them, try to be the
    most realistic as possible
  • The environment in all the levels is fantastic
    because it is based on movies
  • The Artificial Intelligence is in all the levels,
    but it changes in each one, depending the test
    that the character has to do and the environment
    of the level
  • INDIANA JONES
  • Scene El Cairo
  • In the Bazaar there are persons doing different
    actions buying things, speaking. And more of
    them can interact with him with conversations,
    stealing, sending things or to haggle with him
    when hes buying something.
  • When he finds the shopkeeper, he explains him his
    next mission he has to find the shopkeepers
    daughter in the castle

INDIANA JONES LEVEL
  • Scene Castle
  • In the Castle, Steve finds different enemies who
    want to catch him. They can do different things
    like
  • Keep watch on the Castle
  • If the enemies watch him, they will try to take
    him, and the siren of the castle will ring. In a
    few minutes, they will be a lot of enemies around
    him
  • They can fight, run after, and shoot at him
  • If they take him, they enclose him in a cell and
    the game is finish for Steve
  • Scene the Calyx
  • He shopkeeper gives him the map with the position
    of the Calyx
  • In the Pyramid are different tests and ways,
    which change depending on the way of our
    character there will be a gyratory doors, vines,
    rocks, hieroglyphic, mortal holes, murderers
    mummies, rates that bite him, poisons bats... and
    at the end, he has to go through a broken bridge.

JURASSIC PARK LEVEL
  • The environment is very real, like in the film
  • In this stage the artificial intelligence is not
    important.
  • He has to find the eggs and drive the Jeep. Only
    at the end, when he looks for the third egg, he
    has to disconnect the wire fence. If he cant, he
    will die electrocuted. To make that, he needs to
    open the control door which has three different
    tests

  • TETRIS

E.T.
  • The main character in this level is E.T. It tries
    to speak to Steve and to interact with him
  • The actuation of E.T. is not very complex
  • E.T tries to follow all the people that they meet
    in the way
  • E.T can throw on to them only for following the
    other person, and Steve has to be on the alert
    for its movements.
  • In this level the most important thing its that
    E.T. cant die, because them the game finishes
    for the player, and he has to start again from
    the beginning.
  • Eskimos
  • There are two types of Eskimos, goods and bads.
  • The goods eskimos have to help Steve to answer
    some questions
  • The bad eskimos try to through him out of the
    bike, and through snow balls against him or ET.
    If one snow ball hits E.T it dies for hypothermia

  • He is twenty-five years old.
  • He is American and he studies anthropology and
    arts.
  • He wears special jacket which protected him from
    the water.
  • he always wears a very fashion watch. It has a
    world map and he can know the exactly place where
    he is thanks of a satellite link.

  • She is 25 years old.
  • She is American and she studies anthropology and
    arts
  • she can wear a special jacket which protected her
    from the water.
  • She doesnt need the watch that Steve wears
    because shes cleverer than him.
  • But Steve is stronger than her.

  • main member of the Community but Steve/Stine
    doesnt know it.
  • At the beginning of the game the guide looks bad
    character
  • he is the key to go from one level to the other.
  • At the end the player discovers that hes a
    friend.
  • Shopkeeper
  • The moron lives in a Bazaar from Egypt.
  • He wears clothes from his culture.
  • he will be friend because he needs Steves help.
  • His daughter is arrested in a castle
  • he has very good information about The holy grail
    that Steve needs.
  • Steve has to help him.

  • E.T
  • The character needs E.T and it needs the
    character to go at home.
  • The small alien looks like in the movie.
  • Eskimos
  • - Good Eskimos help to him to find the different
    objects he needs to help E.T.

  • Bandits
  • They live in a castle in Egypt.
  • They have arrested the shopkeepers daughter.
    They have a sword as arm.
  • Snakes
  • These animals try to kill Steve.
  • If one of the snakes touches him, Steve will
    loose a live.
  • Tyrannosaurus Rex
  • This animal lives in Hawaiis Island and it will
    fight with Steve.
  • At the beginning of the level it is in a cage but
    at the end of the level it is going to run
    against Steve.

  • Eskimos
  • Some Eskimos are bad characters.
  • Steve has to take care because they can through
    stones to him.
  • They can lie about the way and the information.
  • The police
  • At the end of the level of E.T they noticed that
    there is E.T.s spaceship.
  • Steve has to ride a bike while he is carrying
    E.T. in the basket faster than the police.

  • P.O.V. (How the player sees the world)
  • Seventh Art Spirit is a 3D game, recreating
    different places located around the world, such
    as the Cairo, Greenland.
  • The game mixes a real world with fantastic
    situations.
  • the game look like it has to be the more
    realistic as possible, recreating all the details
    we can see in our real world.
  • The characters movements will be the more
    realistic as possible
  • to recreate the character's and other human's
    movements it will be a good idea to use "the
    motion capture" technique.
  • The game is focused in exploration and action.
  • It's an adventure game with some ROL actions,
    such as the puzzles and the character's
    conversation she must have to find different
    objects or budgets to be able to continue.

  • Third person game.
  • The player will see the character's back all in
    the perspective she choose, because she will have
    different camera options while she's playing.
  • The player also will have the camera option "see
    the world around my eyes". With this point of
    view, the character will not be able to move, and
    the action will pass to be a kind of a first
    person game.
  • During the game play, the player won't be able to
    save the game. The game will save automatically
    when the character has done a specific action or
    when he has reached to a specific area in the
    level he is.

  • OPTIONS The player can choose the games
    brightness, the volume of the sound and effects,
    the screen options (169 or 34 formats).
  • While the player is playing and she "pauses" the
    game, she will "open" the character's bag. There
    will be different information.

  • PICKING UP , USING and LEAVING OBJECTS
  • The player will have to decide what she wants to
    keep in the bag, because she will only have the
    possibility to carry on a limited number of
    objects in the bag (4 for Stine, and 6 for
    Steve).
  • The objects will give the option to know for what
    they can be used, never revealing what they are
    going to do in the level.
  • MOVEMENTS
  • The controls are designed taking in mind the
    latest consoles (PSX2, GAMECUBE and XBOX)
  • - Up, Left, Right (Analogy Controller)
  • - Down (Analogy controller)

  • CAMERA and LOOKING
  • third person perspective or in a first person
    perspective.
  • Referring to the third perspective camera
    options, the camera always has to provide the
    player a good view of the environment, and if
    its necessary, the camera will change to another
    perspective that is not a third person one
    Anyway, the camera has to pass to a third person
    perspective as fast as possible to dont confuse
    the player.

  • TALKING and READING
  • - The player will always start a conversation or
    will read something pressing the action button
    but in the cut scenes, because those are
    automatically generated by the console and the
    player becomes an observer.

  • LIVES AND SCORE
  • Our character will only have a unique life, like
    in the real life.
  • When Steve dies, the player will start in the
    place that the console has restored the action.
  • Each level will give the player the possibility
    to continue 3 times, 3 continue for each level.
  • The player will be able to continue in a specific
    place once it reached and the console restored.
  • The character will die in different kind of
    situations. In each level, the character will die
    in different form, and then the player wont know
    how the characters die.
  • He will die like a real person. This will force
    the player to make the character acts like a
    human.
  • The game will not have score.
