repair on-board equipment
7Students say
- This is definitely the greatest learning
experience I have ever had! - Overall this was the best internship I could
have hoped for. Not only did I learn a lot about
different types of equipment, and research that
can be done, but also I got to spend time on a
vessel, which was something that I had never done
before. - My internship aboard the New Horizon was the most
incredible experience of my life. The experience
and knowledge I gained has changed my life.
Through the internship a whole world of
opportunity has opened up for me. - The internship gave me the confidence in myself
to pursue my job. My interview was the week after
I got back. Before my internship, I was unsure
of my abilities - what I could do and how I could
help a company. During my internship I was able
to give suggestions to chief scientists and help
the operation run more smoothly. That gave me the
edge I needed to apply for the job full-force.
