Configuring Junk Mail Handling
  • Junk Mail Handling enables you to have actions
taken automatically on any junk mail you receive,
such as deleting the mail automatically. Junk
Mail Handling also enables you to block email
from a certain address, or to allow email from
    others.

3
Junk Mail Handling Continued
  • Junk Mail Handling is not enabled by default.
When you enable it, a new folder, called the Junk
Mail folder, is created in your Folder List box.
Any mail that you deemed junk mail will be placed
into this folder automatically upon arrival.
Junk mail is identified from an address YOU
    specified as a junk address.

Difference between Junk List and Block List

    end of the day.

Adding Addresses to the Junk List

    and domain names.
  • Example of a domain name would be

considered junk mail and moved to the Junk Mail
    folder.

Trust List
  • A Junk Mail Handling list to which you add
addresses or domains from which you want to
    receive messages.
  • Not really necessary. Maybe helpful if you
wanted to block a domain but wanted a trust email
    address under that domain.
  • I would not recommend using unless you are very
    sure what you are doing.
