Facilities and Capabilities
Secura Keys manufacturing plant and general
offices are located in a large, modern facility
in Chatsworth, California (near Los Angeles).
Our full range of in-house capabilities include
card manufacturing, packaging, graphics, and
printing, along with electronic, mechanical,
firmware and software development, design and
assembly. Secura Key products are legendary for
their reliability, simplicity of operation, ease
of installation and the ability to withstand
harsh weather and extreme temperatures.

Reliability by Design
Secura Key builds an extra layer of protection
into into every standard product with features
such as surge protection on inputs and outputs,
industrial grade components to ensure operation
from -40 to 158 F, coated boards to fight
corrosion, and sturdy steel and Lexan housings
for vandal resistance. This is why Secura Key
products are equally at home in Miami, Anchorage,
or Kuwait City.

Radio Key
Stand Alone Low Frequency Proximity Series
Single Door Stand-Alones. Products range from
600 to 65,000 total users. Some units include a
Keypad that may be used used for PIN access as
well as for programming the unit. Programming may
also be accomplished using a programming deck or
a remote passive hand-held programmer.
Audit trail is also available on some units.
With audit trail, the unit stores date and time
stamped transactions which may be sent to a PC or
printer. Audit trail also allows for programming
units via a PC.

Radio Key
Low Frequency Proximity Series
Readers. The Radio Key line of products
includes a full line of readers with many
different styles and outputs. Readers are
available in mullion, switch plate, and long
range versions. Wiegand, multi-drop two line
RS-485, and other special outputs are offered.
Read ranges of up to 36 inches are available with
a credit card-size transponder.
The Wiegand output readers are designed to
integrate into other manufacturers control
panels, or Secura Keys SK-ACP two door Advanced
Control Panel, with outputs available of up to 40
bits.

Radio Key Transponders
Transponders are available as a key tag, molded
card, or ISO card. Multi-technology cards are
available, combining proximity with magnetic
stripe, bar code, and Barium Ferrite
technologies. Custom printing of cards and photo
imageable surfaces allow almost any photo
application.

eTag
Contactless Smart Card Technology
The eTag series of products utilizes the latest
in high frequency (13.56 MHz) contactless smart
card technology. This ever expanding product
line features high speed communications and 2Kbit
10Kbit re-programmable transponder chips which
allow highly sophisticated electronic
identification and access control applications.
Some readers can read multiple transponders
simultaneously.
Writers and reader/writers are also available for
special applications. The Wiegand output readers
are designed to integrate into other
manufacturers control panels, or Secura Keys
SK-ACP two-door Advanced Control Panel, with
outputs available of up to 40 bits.

eTag Transponders
Secura Key offers eTag transponders in
ISO-thickness cards ready for dye sublimation
badge printing. Custom four-color graphics and
magnetic stripes are available. Key ring tags and
other transponder packages are also available.
eTag transponders may be used in many
applications including loyalty cards, debit
cards, and as an adjunct to high security
biometric identification applications.

Touch Card
Technology Products
Our patented Touch Card technology is available
in a complete line of products. Readers with
Wiegand, RS232 and RS485 outputs are routinely
used in many access control applications.
Flush mount and steel surface mount housings are
available. These self-contained units easily
surface mount to a single gang electrical box,
masonry wall, post, or almost any surface. All
units accept low voltage AC or DC power.

Touch Card
Technology Products
Single Door Stand-Alones. Entracomp SA series
card access control units are reliable,
inexpensive, and fully programmable. Card
validating, voiding and unit programming are
easily accomplished without opening the reader
housing, using a deck of 15 program cards.
Stand-alone, single door units that control
65,000 individual users have become the standard
of the industry. The Touch Card readers
slotless design resists weather and vandalism.
Simply place a card on the stainless steel Touch
Card reader plate and the card is read
instantly and accurately.

Cards
Secura Key is a leading manufacturer of Barium
Ferrite cards. Inexpensive and durable Barium
Ferrite cards are available in a variety of
program formats with four-color custom graphics,
signature panels, photo pouches, laminating flaps
and other options. Cards are available in
wallet-size or convenient Touch Key key
ring-size designs.

Software / Systems
Secura Key access control software is available
for use with our stand alone and multi-door
systems. Advanced communication protocols and
easy-to-use graphic user interfaces make it
simple to program our systems, and view user and
transaction databases. You may connect one or
many readers directly to a PC or use a modem to
connect to a remote location.

Card Manufacturing
Secura Key is one of the largest independent
manufacturers of PVC access control cards with
both Barium Ferrite and proximity technologies.
State of-the-art custom printing is done
in-house. Photo ID access cards with Photo
Imaging Ready (polished finish) cards are also
available. Available card accessories include
punched slots, strap clips, signature panels, and
eyeleted key ring holes.

Card Manufacturing
Secura Key also manufactures multiple technology
cards, which allow system migration or multiple
system / single-card applications, such as
proximity with magnetic stripe, proximity with
Barium Ferrite, or Barium Ferrite with magnetic
stripe.

laminating proximity, Wiegand, smart card and
other types of inserts into PVC packages for OEM
customers. Secura Key meets demanding
requirements such as ISO thickness, polished
