  Marilyn Hooks has been the Staff Associate at
  the University of Kentucky Princeton Research and
  Education Center for more than 30 years! She is
  owner of Marilyn's Herb Corner. She is a
  Certified Herbalist and Iridologist and loves
  talking and educating others on the many uses of
  natural alternatives.

• Why Cant We Be Friends? Dr. Madonna Weese,
  Jefferson County 4-H Agent, joins us with
  Exploring Your Personality Style  Making the
  Most of Your Best. During this fun, interactive
  hour, participants will identify their dominant
  personality style and explore how this style
  impacts their interactions with family and
  co-workers.  You may also discover why some folks
  just get on your last nerve! and what to do
  about it.

• Amanda Abnee, Extension Associate Doug McLaren,
  Extension Specialist, back by popular demand!!
  They will do two special sessions for us. First,
  GPS A Tango with Technology so you will know
  where youre going and how to get there. Then
  theyll do a session on water quality and a cave
  tour A Subterranean Water Dance. These
  sessions have different times than the other
  break-out sessions. Both of these sessions will
  start inside but the majority of your time will
  be outside so dress appropriately especially
  for the caving!

  Want Matt Haas, Individual Consultant -
  TIAA-CREF - will join us for the first time!
  Matt is a UK graduate and will offer Individual
  Counseling Sessions as well as two break-out
  sessions Income Options  This seminar reviews
  all of the options that a retiree has to generate
  income from TIAA-CREF.  It will leave those who
  are considering or planning retirement with a
  full understanding of how they are able to use
  all of the money they have saved.  Investment
  Allocation  This seminar reviews general
  concepts of investing and allocating a retirement

• Take This Job And Shove It - Samantha Roberts,
  M.A. is a licensed therapist at the Garrard
  County Comprehensive Care Center. She does
  individual, group, couples, and family therapy.
  She is going to teach us how to get through the
  day! She will focus on stress management and
  getting along with your co-workers!

• Just Give Them A Pickle - Pat Margolis is the FCS
  Agent in Hart County. This is a fun, motivating
  look at the most important thing we can do in
  Extension..take care of our clients. Were all
  in the same business, the people business.  Our
  job is to make our clients happy and give them
  the information they need.  Whats the best way
  to do that?  By giving out pickles.

• Take A Letter Maria - Learn how easy it is to
  make personalized note cards with Barbara Glanz,
  former CES Treasurer and Jefferson County
  Bookkeeper since 1997. This session has an
  additional 3.00 fee, but you get loads of
  supplies to work with stuff to take home and
  contests to enter after youve made your note
  cards!

• How Do I Mend A Broken Heart - No Sew Quilt
  Sample. Alethia Prettyman, has been Extension
  Secretary for Christian County since 2003. A
  beekeeper, interior designer and seamstress. She
  has a certificate in Textiles and Clothing.
  Kathy Adams, the Hopkins County Secretary for 13
  years will be helping and sharing her creativity.
  In this workshop, participants will cut a design
  of a heart quilt square onto insulation board and
  select coordinated fabrics to apply to their
  board for completing a 12 square wall hanging.
  Bring an X-acto knife or a sharp pointed paring
  knife. Cost 5.00

  almost time for end of year reporting, have you
  been entering your 4-H info? Brandon will take
  questions and go over Whats New in Youth
  Enrollment v2.5, Dealing with Duplications,  A
  Look at the Youth Enrollment Web Page, and most
  importantly - Balancing the ES-237 Report.

  Secretary for 12 years and Linda Sanders, Webster
  County EFNEP Assistant for 17 years, show us how
  to turn those pesky cds we all receive in the
  mail into something that is actually useful!
  Learn how to turn junk mail into personalized
  coasters! There is no fee for this craft and
  supplies are included but if youd like to use
  pictures (or copies) you can bring them.
