What is this program?

• The I am a STAR! program is aimed at recognizing
  and appreciating Victors who set performance
  benchmarks in their respective areas.
• All regular employees of are eligible for this
  program.
• Star points can be won by all Victors (except
  Departmental Heads!)

All hotel employees are VICTORS

How to earn star points?

• Guest Comments
• On every mention of a Victors name in the Guest
  Comment Form, he/she earns 10 star points.
• Victors from heart-of-the-house areas (Kitchen,
  Accounts and Engineering) earn 20 star points
• Guest History
• The 5 best inputs (as chosen by the GM) every
  week will get 10 star points
• The recommendations for the best inputs will be
  given by the Guest History Coordinator at GMs
  Office for the GMs approval.
• (The calculation of a week will be from Sunday to
  Saturday)

Compliment A VICTOR !!
Make a STAR!

• If you compliment a fellow Victor for doing
  something special, he/she earns 20 star points
• Any Victor can compliment a fellow-Victor in
  another department if
• He/she has gone beyond the call of duty and put
  in exceptional effort
• Shown a very high level of initiative or
  innovation
• The compliment must be written in the Make a
  STAR! form (available with each Department Head)
  and put in the Star Box in the cafeteria
• The compliment has to be authenticated by the
  Department Head of the Victor giving the
  compliment

Starry Ideas!

• Victors can think of Starry Ideas to improve
  departmental or hotel operations (such as
  suggestions on waste reduction or achieving guest
  delight, etc.)
• Each Starry Idea will earn 20 star points, if it
  is accepted as feasible by the Star Council
• The Star Council will revert on feasibility
  within 7 working days of receipt of
  the Starry Idea
• The Starry Idea has to be written on the Starry
  Ideas form which is available with the Department
  Head and deposited in the Star Box

Reach for the STARS!

• The Victor who earns 200 star points within one
  calendar year is declared a STAR!
• The STAR shall receive recognition in the form of
  a star badge, a special memento and an
  appreciation letter from the General Manager

Reach for the STARS!

• The Victor who earns 500 star points within one
  calendar year is declared a SUPERSTAR!
• The SUPERSTAR gets a complimentary stay for two
  nights for 2 persons (friend or family) at the
  Hotel.
• This includes food and soft beverages

Reach for the STARS!

• The Victor who earns 1000 star points within one
  calendar year is declared a MEGASTAR!
• The MEGASTAR would get a 2 night stay (inclusive
  of Room Breakfast) for 2 people at any Trident
  Hilton Hotel in India!
• This would include return train fare
  
• (II AC for 2 people) to the chosen destination.

How do we track Star Points?

• Each Saturday, the Galaxy of Stars board
  displayed would be updated, giving the status of
  the star points received by each Victor.
