What type of website is not appropriate to access
at school?
First, lets look at the words appropriate and
inappropriate.
appropriate ok, good, safe
inappropriate not ok, not good, not safe

What do you do if you accidentally go to an
inappropriate website?
If you find that you are at a site that you know
is inappropriate, click the "Back" button on the
top of the screen. This will bring you back to
the original web site that you were viewing.
If that doesnt work, immediately turn off your
monitor and tell your teacher. She will help you
get back to an appropriate website.

Netiquette is the word used to describe Internet
etiquette (manners), or the way that you should
behave while on-line.
It is important to always be considerate of
others and never use bad language. Only say
things on-line that you would say face-to-face
with a person.
Remember that nothing you write on the Internet
is private. Anything written on the internet can
be read by anyone online.
