and improve transit access - Community coordination to create the design of
station areas
13Our teams involvement in the project
- Our group conducted an intercept survey of the
patrons of the 24th Street/Mission BART Plazas. - Data collected will help project coordinators get
a feel of patrons view on the safety, comfort,
attractiveness and overall usefulness of the
current plazas - Help designers plan for a new plaza that will fit
into the surrounding neighborhood while serving
its purpose as a transit center.

- Gathering of primary data by conducting intercept
survey - Personal Observations of Plaza area at different
times of the day and week. - Windshield Survey of the neighborhood

- Goal of 80 completed surveys
- Any persons at the plaza were eligible

- Covered Both sides of plaza
