beaten or abused!

  Since 1940 animal abuses cases have increased
  tremendously.

18 of animal abuse cases involve cats.

64.5 of all abused animals are dogs.

Approximately 5 to 7 million animals enter animal
shelters nationwide every year after being abused
or neglected.

Five out of ten dogs and seven out of ten cats
are in shelters and destroyed simply because
there is no one to adopt them.

less than 2 of cats are returned to their
owners.
only 15 to 20 of dogs are returned to their
owners.

Out of all animal abuse cases over ¾ of the cases
go unreported.
