The Border Polices Version
The investigation file has two conflicting set of
testimonies those of the Border Police officers
identified by the police as the shooters, and
those of the civilian eye witnesses -
Palestinians and internationals. While Red
Crescent records from that date document three
injuries, the questioned Border Police officers
only admitted injuring one person.

The Civilian Eye Witnesses Version
The civilian eye witnesses tell a different story
entirely regarding Tristans shooting. While
corroborating the fact that clashes did occur in
the vicinity of the Antenna Hill and the
presence of a Border Police crew there, they
place Tristans shooters elsewhere

According to the civilian eye witnesses, the
shooter stood roughly 30 to 60 meters from
Tristan, on a hill, and had a direct line of fire.
