Conclusions

• The Triassic is over 1500 metres thick in Halfway
  map area
• Montney-Doig equivalent (Toad-Grayling) is some
  750 metres thick
• Structural shortening occurred by thin and thick
  skinned tectonics
• The top of the Triassic is in the middle to upper
  oil window and the base in the upper dry gas zone

• Ultimate gas in place of 6.3 Tcf in Northern
  Foothills
• Close to active area
• Current 150 000 data base is inadequate
• Will assist with interpretation of acquired
  seismic
• Extensive exposures of Triassic stratigraphy
  examination will help with interpretation of
  sequence in the subsurface
