Why Is Who What Where Needed?

• It presents an overview of the humanitarian
  response identifying gaps and duplications
• Allows for drill-down analysis to support
  detailed co-ordination
• It can assist with monitoring and evaluation, and
  reporting on the crisis
• The archived information can be useful for
  subsequent reference, lessons learned, academic
  studies, etc.
