WAOL Technical Support

26
Presidium Protocol
  • WAOL will keep the current toll-free phone
    number  for Presidium  866-425-8412.  Presidium
will follow a single protocol for any user who
approaches them through either that number or
through the WAOL Help Desk http//www.waol.org/gen
    eral_info/help_desk.aspx
  • If a college wants to have its own phone number,
college branding in the help desk or a different
protocol, the college will need to write a
contract with Presidium for that service.
Presidium estimates that will cost a college
    about 12,000 per year.
  • The protocol is editable at any time.  We will
work through the WAOL Advisory Group to refine
and change as needed to make sure we are
providing the best service we can.

27
Presidium (cont)
  • Since Presidium staff will not have access to any
colleges records, any account status questions
or problems will be referred back to the
enrolling or hiring college.  Presidium will not
create, delete, enable or disable any user
    accounts without direct permission.
  • Presidium will send students to this page to find
the correct person at the college for help.
Colleges are responsible to keep this information
updated through their ELC MyWAOL account.
  • http//www.waol.org/current_students/student_servi
    ces.asp
  • We do not know yet how we will share reports and
    access with college staff.
  • WAOL will be changing the calendar page to show
    all colleges start-stop dates.
