Epidemiologic Situation / Activities

• The last confirmed case was reported from the
  Rahd district, Gedarif state with date of onset
  10 April (10 weeks with no new cases).
• Isolates from 2 cases are pending ITD, one from
  Gezira State P3, date of onset 14/05, the other
  from White Nile P3, date of onset 17/05.
• The next round of supplemental immunization is
  planned to take place 12-14 July 2005, to cover
  all accessible areas in North Sudan (about 90 of
  target).
