2To be successful in life, work and
relationships, you have to do one thing first
you have to show up. In other words, you have to
be willing to show the world who you are and what
you believe in. And you have to keep showing up
in spite of the knock-backs and the heartbreaks.
The temptation to edit yourself and to hide will
only leave you feeling dead inside.Dr Robert
Holden, author of Success Intelligence
3What lies behind us and what lies before us are
small matters compared to what lies within us.
Ralph Waldo Emerson American Essayist Poet
4I am an inspired entrepreneur my business is
information and inspiration, through writing,
speaking, coaching, broadcasting, products,
teaching and creating events I have done this
20 years
5The past has been about working for love or
money. The present and the future are more about
working for love and money
6Firstly, discover the work you were born to do
your purpose for being the wrap a business
around it
7Inspired Entrepreneurs are curious about their
own potential and what they can achieve and make
happen they are curious about what lies on the
other side their fears
8Inspired Entrepreneurs tend to act in the face of
fear and resistance, in order to grow themselves
they are self initiated
9Four trends that I observe in my world
101. The changing nature of the world of work and
peoples expectations of work. People want more
than a pay-check, they want meaning and
fulfilment
11Inspired entrepreneurship finding something you
love and wrapping a business around is becoming
a career choice for more and more people
12Doing more than one thing being a renaissance
soul or portfolio worker is become an option
for more an more people
132. Inspiration people want to be inspired it
is a human need
14"Perpetual inspiration is as necessary to the
life of goodness, holiness and happiness as
perpetual respiration is necessary to animal
life." William Law, English cleric and
theological writer
15"When you work only for yourself, or for your own
personal gain, your mind will seldom rise above
the limitations of an undeveloped personal life.
But when you are inspired by some great purpose,
some extraordinary project, all your thoughts
break your bonds your mind transcends
limitations, your consciousness expands in every
direction, and find yourself in a new, great and
wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties and
talents become alive, and you discover yourself
to be a greater person by far than you ever
dreamed yourself to be." Patanjali, founder of
Yoga sutras, 2nd century b.c.
163. Contribution fewer and fewer entrepreneurs
are doing it just for the money. They want to
contribute and make a difference, and that gives
meaning
174. Authenticity, individuality and uniqueness
businesses succeed by niching and serving a small
tribe of people wonderfully rather than trying to
mass market
18The opportunities1. Show up be inspired and
inspiring 2. Be authentic and real 3. Show
leadership give hope4. Wrap great business
models around it all
19Be willing to be take baby steps and start small
you build confidence and competence and break
through fears start now or as soon as possible
amazing things happen when you show up!
