2If the Assignments tool has been added to the
course, use the Assignments link in the Course
Menu to access upcoming assignments.
3Assignments will be listed in order of due date.
Status indicates if the assignment has been
submitted, Open is when the assignment is
available, and Due lists when the assignment must
be completed.
To begin an assignment, click on the Assignment
title.
4Within the assignment, you should see specific
assignment information such as due date, status,
grade and instructions. Depending on how the
instructor set up the submission process for the
assignment you can either type your assignment
directly in this area, or upload your assignment
file.
5If given the option to type up your assignment
directly in this area, it is best to do the
typing in a word application, then copy and paste
text into this area.
To attach an assignment file, click on the Add
Attachments button.
6Click the Browse button to locate your
assignment file. The assignment must already
be saved to your computer desktop at this time.
7Click once on the assignment file to select and
choose the Open button.
8To complete the upload process, click Continue.
To submit assignment for grading click Submit.
Choose Save Draft to continue working on
assignment, make sure to Submit prior to due date.
9To finalize submission, click OK
Status now indicates Submitted.
