What is jargon?

• The definition of jargon is the language,
  especially the vocabulary, peculiar to a
  particular trade, profession, or group.
• Basically it is the words that a particular group
  of people use in relation to their work.

Why do I need to know financial jargon?

• In the next few years if you have not already you
  will need to be able to go into a bank or
  building society and access their services.
• For you to get the best deals and not to be
  ripped off you need to know what you are talking
  about!

Your task

• You need to sort the cards out to match the key
  words and the definition.
• You will know some of the terms so do these
  first. Then use some logic to work out the other
  answers.
• Someone in your group needs to write the keyword
  onto the sheet.
• This is what will be marked.
