• This week we are thinking about design but not
  just any old design. We are thinking about the
  design of a human being!

When my son found out, he asked if he could help?
I said, Okay. and this is what he drew

• Of course it was very sweet of him but its
  rubbish! Everybody knows thats not how a human
  is designed!

Have you ever seen arms coming out of their ears!!

• So this is what I decided to do with my sons
  drawing

• How do you feel about what I have done?

It was my sons special design. It was wrong of
me to treat it that way so I really should bring
it back!

• Christians believe we are made in the image of
  God, because it says in the Bible

Genesis 126-27   Then God said, "Let us make
mankind in our image, in our likeness So God
created mankind in his own image, in the image of
God they were created male and female God
created them.

• It is so easy to be rude about the way other
  people have been designed, and some are rude
  about themselves

• ..But if we have been designed, then we should
  treat each other in the same way you expected me
  to treat my sons drawing..

..and celebrate the uniqueness of each and
everyone of us

• If you were designing a human being, what
  characteristics would you give it?

• Creator God,
• Thank you that you have designed each and every
  one of us as a part of your image and in your
  likeness. Forgive us for the times when we are
  cruel to other people and ourselves and help us
  to celebrate this amazing design. Amen.
