Modem Fulfillment Process

• Modems must be activated on Verizons network and
  configured with a static IP address
• VAR will provide Verizon with the ESNs for the
  modems
• Verizon will activate and provide static IP
  addresses for the modems
• VAR needs a contact in Verizon who will provide
  the IP address and activate the modem

• Detailed Process Flow
• Step Description
• 1. VAR receives PO from Verizon
• 2. VAR provides Verizon with ESN number for
  modem
• 3. Verizon activates modem and provides VAR with
  static IP address for modem
• 4. VAR configures modem with IP address
• 5. VAR installs and tests system (includes test
  of IP connectivity)

Fulfillment Through VARs

• Verizon purchases Monitoring Equipment
  (104-00000-10-AA) from Value Added Reseller (VAR)
• VAR purchases Management Unit (104-00000-11-AA)
  from Spotwave
• VAR purchases AirLink Raven modem from AirLink
  distributor
• VAR bundles Management Unit and AirLink modem,
  and completes modem configuration to create
  Monitoring Equipment (104-00000-10-AA)
• VAR configures the modem for IP connectivity with
  the NOC
• VAR coordinates activation of modem and
  configuration of IP address with Verizon
• VAR maintains database of ESN versus IP address
  versus location information
