BACKGROUND INFORMATION

• Alternatives Unlimited is an education management
  company that has been helping students reach
  their potential in urban school districts around
  the country for nearly the past decade. Three
  years ago the Federal government set aside money
  so that school districts having trouble meeting
  the needs of its students could use federal funds
  to finance free tutoring services for district
  students. Alternatives Unlimited is one of the
  providers authorized by the state of Arkansas to
  provide after-school tutoring for qualifying
  students.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

• Alternatives Unlimited tutoring provides
  individualized attention through a small group
  setting (51) or individual tutoring, that meets
  state and local academic standards and helps
  students improve their classroom performance.
  AUs tutoring program is tailored to the
  individual childs needs. This assistance leads
  to better report cards and greater success on
  state tests. AU will help your child succeed now
  and in the future.
