Mid-American Corrugated Pallets

• As a two year old child my grandfather and
  I planted a little oak tree, One hundred years
  later I passed away and that very tree was not
  big enough to harvest one pallet! As a nation we
  are cutting down 200 to 300 year old trees to
  make pallets. 61 of our nations hardwood or
  840 million pallets are made each year with a BTU
  level for export that could heat all the homes in
  the Midwest for the whole winter. We use 100
  post consumer waste and are 100 recyclable, with
  no waste. No landfill cost or environmental
  impact .

Mid American offers products that are low cost
solutions. While minimizing wasted resources,
material and weight required to ship your product.
Every year, an estimated 840 million hardwood
pallets are produced. Consuming 61 of all hard
wood lumbered in America. Mid American Corrugated
Pallets are manufactured using 100 post
consumer recycled corrugated material.
We use corrugated materials that have been
harvest from todays Urban forest (recycled).
We only use water soluble adhesives, therefore
there is no need for staple or tacks, making our
product 100 recyclable.
Light weight design allows for more product to be
added to transport loads, so when our product is
recycled it can bring the consumer an average
return of 70 cents per pallets.
All of our products should be return for
recycling. Allowing our customers the chance to
eliminate landfill waste.

Corrugated

• Definition
• Corrugated fiberboard is a paper-based
  construction material consisting of a fluted
  corrugated sheet and one or two flat linerboards

• Example of savings
• A 53 ft. high cube trailer can hold
  approximately 48,000 lbs of product and 30 wood
  pallets that weight 2,100 lbs or 70lbs a piece.
  The difference in weight between a 9.3 lbs
  corrugated pallet and a 70 lbs wood pallet in a
  truck load is 1,821 lbs. Which is a equivalent
  of a free shipment of product per every 27
  truckloads. If the pallets are double stacked
  for a rack in a warehouse or store, the weight of
  wood pallets becomes 4,200 lbs with 60 pallets.
  Corrugated pallets, when double stacked, only
  reach 558 lbs of weight, the shipper gets a free
  truck load every 12 instead of 27. Plus you
  dont have a ton of weight on your product.

  approximately 43,000 lbs of product and carries
  roughly 28 wood pallets weighing an average of 70
  lbs each. That adds up to 1,960 lbs of
  unprofitable weight per truck. Corrugated
  pallets weigh only a fraction of that weight at
  9.3 lbs each. That adds up to 260.4 lbs. The
  difference between wood and corrugated pallets
  per truck is 1,700 lbs. That is a savings of one
  free truckload for the shipper per every 26
  truckloads.
