    present your findings
  • Design
  • Produce a detailed imaginative design idea for
a textiles product that can be made from rip-stop
    nylon
  • Explain how your research influenced your design
    idea

3
Deadlines
  • Research Section due in for checking Week 2 (1
    hours worth of homework)

research to explain why you think it is
    appropriate for those products

7
Present the findings from Research Task 2
  • You should include pictures of the different
products and annotate them to show...
  • What the product is
  • Different reasons why rip-stop nylon is an
appropriate fabric to use for the product
  • You are expected to find write about 3-5
different products again, you can choose how to
present this work... ask for help if you get
    stuck!

    nylon
  • You should use your research to help you design a
product that the fabric would suit
  • Your design should be imaginative and detailed
  • The drawing should be neat, fully coloured and
show the product from different angles (front
    back / inside outside)

idea which properties of the fabric make it
    suitable for your product why

11
Extension Task
  • If you find that you have a number of ideas, you
could produce a range of design ideas for
different products made with rip-stop nylon
each design idea must be presented in as much
detail as is required for the main homework task
if you want to achieve a high effort level!
  • (This is an optional task)

12
Project Check List
The more of the boxes that are ticked, the more
successful your project will be!
