1
Status of SMOKE modeling Typical 02
2
  • Color Code
  • Red As in Base02b (may not need to be
    reprocessed)
  • Green Has new emissions and need to processed

3
  • AREA
  • WRAP (IDA format) ) New emissions for typ02a
  • CENRAP - (IDA format) ), As in Base02b
  • The Ag., construction, and road dust SCCs were
    removed to a separate file.
  • The refueling stage II records were removed (the
emission is calculated in on road mobile)
  • All the records with NH3 only were removed from
the AREA annual file and processed with the
ammonia monthly emissions with adjustable monthly
    temporal profile.
  • MANE-VU (IDA format) ), As in Base02b
  • The Ag., construction, and road dust SCCs were
    removed to a separate file.
  • The refueling stage II records were removed (the
emission is calculated in on road mobile)
  • VISTAS (IDA format) ), New emissions for typ02a
  • The Ag., construction, and road dust SCCs were
    removed to a separate file.
  • The refueling stage II records were removed (the
emission is calculated in on road mobile)
  • MRPO (IDA format) ), As in Base02b
  • Do not have road dust SCCs
  • The Ag. and construction dust SCCs were removed
    to a separate file.
  • Records with "28017" and "28050" SCCs for IL were
removed. Theses SCCs are in the monthly NH3
MWRPO emissions upon instruction from Mark
    Janssen
  • The refueling stage II records were removed (the
emission is calculated in on road mobile)
  • Mexico 1999 Inventory (IDA format) ) New
    emissions for typ02a
  • Canada- 2000 Inventory (IDA format) ), As in
    Base02b

  • Fugitive Dust (Ag. Const.)
  • WRAP- (IDA format) ), New emissions for typ02a
  • Taken from the area sources IDA file.
  • CENRAP- (IDA format) ), As Base02b
  • Taken from the area sources IDA file.
  • VISTAS- (IDA format) ), New emissions for typ02a
  • Taken from the area sources IDA file.
  • MRPO- (IDA format) ), As Bas02b
  • Taken from the area sources IDA file.
  • MANE-VU- (IDA format) ), As base02b
  • Taken from the area sources IDA file.
  • Mexico BRAVO1999, (IDA format) ), New emissions
    for typ02a
  • Canada- 2000, (IDA format) ), As Base02b
  • Taken from the area sources IDA file.

  • Road Dust
  • WRAP- (IDA format), New emissions for typ02a
  • CENRAP- (IDA format), As Base02b
  • Taken from the area sources IDA file
  • VISTAS-, (IDA format), New emissions for typ02a.
  • MW- The area sources file did not include road
    dust???
  • MANE-VU (IDA format), As Base02b

  • Wind Blown Dust
  • The Entire Domain Processed, As Base02b

7
  • AG Ammonia
  • WRAP- complete from GIS base model, As Base02b
  • CENRAP- available as monthly emissions (no TX).
    As Base02b
  • New temporal xref for the SCC in the monthly
emission files was created for the CENRAP (not
TX) states where the monthly profile is uniform
and the weekly and diurnal profiles stayed as
they are in the original xref.
  • The Monthly Miscellaneous NH3 files had number
Bio SCCs (27014..) that did not have spatial
surrogate codes. Xref codes were assigned to
    these SCCs.
  • TX has an annual file with 2 SCCs only. The
original file included Wind Erosion SCC for AR.
This was removed because we have the WBD
    emissions from the WBD model.
  • An NH3 file for TX perspirations was received,
but the same records are in the general AREA
file. These records were removed to prevent
    duplication.
  • The records with NH3 only were removed from the
AREA annual file and processed with the monthly
emissions with proper monthly temporal profiles
  • VISTAS- available annual, in area sources file
  • MRPO- available as monthly emissions. As Base02b
  • New temporal xref for the SCC in the monthly
emission files was created for the 5 MW states
where the monthly profile is uniform and the
weekly and diurnal profiles stayed as they are in
    the original xref.
  • MANE-VU- available, in area source file
