Adjectives agree in gender with the nouns they
are modifying

• Adjectives that end with e and ista describe
  both masculine feminine nouns
• Adjectives that end with o describe a masculine
  noun and then change to a to describe a feminine
  noun

• If a word ends with a vowel, add an s to the end.
• Pobre Rubio Serio
• If a word ends with a consonant add es.
