NSTAR 201 Installation Instructions

Purpose

• To successfully install

NSTAR

Settings

• NSTAR runs on Internet Explorer web browser and
  Windows XP
• Make sure you are an administrator on your
  machine and that you connect to the NAU server.
• Set screen resolution to at least 1024 by 768
• Uninstall Google or Yahoo toolbar
• Enable Excel macro option

Navigate to NSTAR server

• Open web browser and enter the address
  http//pinon.ucc.nau.edu/osoft/

Client Software Center

• Click on Client Software Center

Diagnostics

• Run BPC Client Diagnostic for appropriate
  computer specifications.

• Click Next

• If Green checkmarks then you are set. Click
  Close

• Click BPC for Office Installation

• Click Next on the next two Screens

• Accept the terms and click Next

• Accept default location by clicking Next

Connection Wizard

• Select AppSet NAU_PROD, click on Connection Wizard

• Select pinon.ucc.nau.edu, Use secure port radio
  button and click Next
