- I have always enjoyed the personal growth
process, but now I can see how helping others can
be good for them, and also a great training
ground for my own growth as well. - Nate
Guadagni, Corps member, Portland, Oregon - Through the Phoenix Project, I have opened my
heart, for the first time, to myself. I have been
able to see my layers of bad habits and fears,
but also my power within. I look back now and
can see how much I have grown and learned. I know
that there will still be hardships and trials in
my daily life, but that doesnt scare me as much
anymore. - Erienne Iglesky, Corps member,
Phoenix, Arizona
Imagine
- I want to thank the Phoenix Project for choosing
Spontaneous Celebrations as a site. All the staff
were impressed by the young people who worked on
our building and grounds. They were enthusiastic,
grounded, joyful and hard working. Their
contributions transformed our Community Cultural
Center and made it ready for a fresh start in
September when our programs serving inner city
teens will start up again. - Femke RosenbaumFounder/DirectorSpontaneous

program we want to express our deep gratitude to
the Phoenix project for its support of our
program. Thanks to your effort over forty
students were able to benefit from your breathing
and stretching exercises. Your demonstration was
a great opportunity for the young people in the
inner city to be exposed to new concept of mind
and body training. The Phoenix group was very
knowledgeable and energetic. The groups loved
working with the youths and were willing to
answer all of their questions. It was a great
experience to both our participants and staff it
will have a lasting and memorable effect on our
youth. The program was both timely and realistic.
It presented an expansion of our outreach and
service to the community. - Gary ProutAction for Boston Community

Imagine a group of young people, all gathered
together wearing red t-shirts with a silver
Phoenix on the chest training, smiling,
sweating, pushing the limits of their bodies and
minds.
Now imagine them sharing this energy and
spirit--teaching exercise for the empowerment of
kids, students, adults and seniors transforming
parks, rivers, trails, community centers, lives.
Now stop imagining, and learn about the
national project giving wings to the next
generation of young leaders
