Goals of Hawley Youth Organization

• Teach children cognitive skills
• - memorize numbers, months, days of week
• - write names and recognize letters
• Prepare them for primary school
• - instills discipline
• - reinforces positive interaction with others

• The environment of pre-school encourages learning
• Incorporates learning into everyday activities
  for children
• Puzzles, memory skills, shapes, reading,
  identifying objects
• In order for this to be effective these skills
  must also be enforced at home
