• What is the relationship between the Credit Union
  and Kappa Alpha Psi?
• Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. has authorized
  the use of its name to market and solicit the
  general membership for participation. The
  relationship between KAPFCU and Kappa Alpha Psi
  is membership based. KAPFCU is a stand-alone
  corporation registered in Texas. This prevents
  any potential litigation against Kappa Alpha Psi
  Federal Credit Union, while limiting depositors
  risk of capital and minimizes exposure of Board
  members professional careers.
• What is the web address?
• www.kapfcu.org
• How will I access my account(s)?
• Access to accounts will be via phone, mail and
  direct deposit (payroll, Social
• Security checks, tax refund checks,
  dividends, etc.) and online. Quarterly
  statements will be provided to each KAPFCU
  member.
• Is my money safe?
• The National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund
  (NCUSI) insures all deposits (up to 100,000).
  The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA)
  has oversight responsibility for all federally
  chartered credit unions and will regularly audit
  KAPFCU to make sure it is being run in a sound
  manner. Also, each director, committee member,
  and employee must have required bond coverage and
  must pass a background check.

  KAPFCU will provide a great opportunity for us to

• Who can become a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi

• The field of membership will be comprised of
  members of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.,

• Who will operate the Credit Union?
• Competent individuals will handle the daily
  operations of KAPFCU. Volunteers will also serve
  on committees and boards.
• What is the minimum initial deposit?
• The minimum initial deposit is 50. Each new
  KAPFCU member will be assessed a one-time charge
  of 25.00 for processing, servicing, recording
  and registering your accounts.
