2But the layout can be changed in the View menu
This is the standard layout of APIC
3As you can see here, each quadrant in the Layout
Panel represents a section of the screen

Any of the 16 boxes can be assigned a specific
instrument, or combined to have an instrument
occupy a larger area

5Another option from the View menu is to create a
custom view
To customize your view, select the instruments
you would like from the list on the right
Then arrange the placement you would like on the
layout box
6select the instrument
To adjust the size of an instrument
7then select the area you wish the instrument to
cover, starting with the top left corner
8and ending with the bottom right box of the area
desired
When you click OK the view will be changed
Note All instruments can only exist in square
sections (1x1, 2x2, 3x3 or 4x4), except for the
Approach Plate Viewer, which must have the
dimensions (4x2)
9You can use the instrument layout box to
customize the instrument layout to your preference
10And then choosing any of the Quick Layout buttons
to which you will assign it

All 6 of the Quick Layout Buttons are fully
customizable
You can then save your new layout by selecting
the Save button
11You can scroll through the different view layouts
by right-clicking anywhere on the screen
