- SET-D Spring scheduling will begin in March.
SET-D visits to take place in April May. - End of year discipline data (DDRT)
- We would like to have a DDRT from all schools at
the end of the year as a check in with schools.
- Templates available on PBS Website
- Key Features are now final so please share
- We will present them formally at the Celebration
- Key Features group is now looking at our
evaluation methods and revamping so that we are
aligned
3School Climate
- Due 3/2! (Accepting in office by 3/6 we realize
snow days will cause delay) - Final update will be sent with online
participation numbers and confirming paper
materials received - Goal is for reports to be developed and shared by
May 1 - School Climate Workshop May 12th in Dover
(substitute reimbursement available)
4PBS Training Update
- Secondary School-wide Team Training
- June 17th and 18th (Wednesday and Thursday)
- SW Training for elementary schools will be worked
out on an as needed basis. Please email Sarah if
you have an elementary ready planning to be
trained this summer. - Family-school (CHANGED)
- July 13th and 14th (Monday and Tuesday)
- Culturally Responsive Classrooms 2 day workshop
for trainers - June 22nd and 23rd (Monday and Tuesday)
- 19 coaches have submitted their SurveyMonkey
response regarding CRC training interests

for Creative Response to Conflict
- 3 of these are not coaches (which is great since
this doesnt need to be done by a coach or you
may want to bring others with you even if you are
attending) - Email Debby if you would like to see the names of

would be interested and appropriate to become a

10PBS Recognition for 2008-2009 SY
- Proposal
- Purpose is to recognize the SW PBS efforts of DE
Schools - Will send a list of active schools per district
to each coach for final OK - All active schools will receive a certificate of
appreciation (see sample text on next slide) - Please provide feedback regarding
presentation/delivery through survey - Cadre had good discussion around this topic at
Januarys meeting. We recommend you consider
in-district recognition of team leaders, teams,
etc.

the Celebration Day. - 5 to 7 minute activities/ infomercials

Awareness Schools cant overcome home issues and
the environment kids come from and cant change
behavior if parents dont teach their kids.

16Getting Back on our PATH
- Where are we now?
- We would like to review where we were and
prioritize some goals or steps to accomplish
between now and August as well as what we would
like to have happen in the fall next year.
17Revisit PATH from May of 2008
- In May 2008 PATH was started with coaches. 3 main
goals included - Professional Development
- PR/Marketing
- Collaboration
- In September 2008 coaches divided up to
brainstorm around three goals while considering
administrators and prioritize 2 goals for this
year.
18Professional Development Goals
- Develop School-wide Advanced Team training -
revitalization and transition process by summer
2009 - Develop administration session for PBS schools
- Summer Institute for principals
- One for elementary and one for secondary (part of
Admin. Group)
19PR/Marketing Goals
- Create a PR package that would be available for
various groups - Focus on school boards, central office,
superintendents, parents, and DSEA - Video, power point presentations, brochure,
website for general information to chiefs,
webinar, billboards for education - Engage students, parents, and community leaders
(two focus points discussed) - Statewide poster contest that would provide
graphics to be used for multiple formats - Pamphlets within community settings (i.e. doctor
offices)
20Collaboration Goals
- Create document/presentation regarding ways to
merge and streamline various initiatives within
schools/districts/state (i.e. PBS, PIE, RTI, IST,
ISI, etc.) - Explore options and logistics for grassroots
communication (i.e. Blackboard, list serves,
discussion boards, etc.)
