  • The mission of the Master of Public Health
    Program is to promote, preserve, and restore
    health. This is accomplished by educating
    graduate public health students to be effective
    leaders and practitioners in the fields of

public health, health resources and public

community in the access to public health

Scholarship To teach students methods to
understanding the scope of current public health
knowledge and by contributing to future public
health knowledge through research.

MPH - Two Options
  • Health Promotion
  • The Health Promotion Option prepares public
    health professionals to fulfill leadership roles
    in the development, promotion, application, and
    evaluation of educational and behavioral
    approaches to health problems.  
  • prepares individuals for the practice,
    supervision, program development and
    evaluation of community health education and
    health promotion programs. 
  • Health Policy Management
  • The Health Policy Management option is designed
    to prepare students and health care professionals
    to fulfill leadership roles in the development,
    application, institutionalization, and evaluation
    of public health and healthcare policies and
    programs.
