Aims of the Project
  • BALANCE - An Inclusive Approach to Address the
    Balance of Women in (Manufacturing) Engineering
  • This project will gather, disseminate and embed
    existing good practices in developing
    methodologies to generate an engineering
    community to which more balanced numbers of women
    and men are attracted, recruited and retained.
    Drawing from and building on existing initiatives
    and studies, it will engender an environment in
    which staff, students and employers will both be
    aware of and understand the attitudes and
    perceptions specific to women in engineering.
