I Lord Swaminarayan meditate, in My heart upon
Lord Shree Krishna, on whose left stands
Radhikaji, in whose heart resides Laxmiji and who
plays with His Bhaktas in Vrindavan.

5Shikshapatri Shlok 1
- The Shikshapatri was written in the Hari Mandap
in Vadtal by Lord Swaminarayan on Vasant Panchmi
Maha Sud 5, (VS 1882) or 11 February (AD 1826)
Shlok 211 - The first 10 Shlokas, provides the reader with
a introduction to the Shikshapatri and therefore
is the very essence of what the Shikshapatri is
and its objective. - Lord Swaminarayan, in this first Shloka
performs Manglacharan of Lord Shree Krishna. He
meditates on the very form of Lord Shree
Krishna. Thus, Lord Swaminarayan extols his deep
devotion, faith and worship for Lord Shree
Krishna.
6Shikshapatri Shlok 1
- Lord Shree Krishna was born in Mathura on 19th
July (3228 BC), he is considered to be a
incarnation of the great Lord Vishnu. - His birth Father was called Vasudeva, and His
birth Mother was called Devki, His adopted Mother
is called Yasoda and His adopted Farther is
called Nanda. Hench nickname Nandalal. Lord
Krishna is believed to have had 16,108 wives. - The term Krishna in Sanskrit has the literal
meaning of "black" or "dark", and is used as a
name to describe someone with a dark skin
complexion. The Brahma Samhita describes
Krishna's complexion as being "tinged with the
hue of blue clouds. - Lord Shree Swaminarayan is a manifestation of
Lord Shree Krishna and is also known as Shree
Hari Krishna.
7Shikshapatri Shlok 1
- Radhikaji is one of the staunchest devotees of
Lord Shree Krishna, she is also one of many
Krishnas gopis. - When Radhikaji is by the side of Lord Shree
Krishna the Murti is known as that of Shree Radha
Krishna. - The Padma Purana describes 18,000 cowherd-girls
(gopis) among whom it says 108 are the most
important. Among those 108, 8 are considered more
important still, and among these 8, 2 have a
special position - Candravali and Radharani.
Between the two, the Padma Purana tells us that
Sri Radha is the foremost and without Her
presence no one of the other gopis can really
satisfy Krishna. - In the Bhagavata Purana, Candravali herself
admits the above to be the truth.
8Shikshapatri Shlok 1
- Lakshmi (Sanskrit ???????) is the Hindu
Goddess of wealth. - Srimati Rukmini was the first wife and queen of
Krishna, the 8th avatar of Vishnu. She was an
avatar of Lakshmi - In Puranic Hinduism Lakshmi is the Mother of
the Universe and Vishnu's Shakti. Lakshmi is the
beloved of Lord Narayan, also popularly known as
Lord Vishnu, She is also married his Rama
incarnated as Sita, She is also married to
Krishna incarnated as Rukmini. - Vrindavan - A sacred and ancient forest /
Indian village associated with Lord Shree
Krishna's pastimes as a youth, is regarded as
holy place of pilgrimage, situated on the banks
of the Yamuna River near Govardhan mountain in
the Mathura district, Uttar Pradesh, India.
