Implementation StatusInitial Connectivity

• Idaho Operations Office -T-1 access became
  available 5/30/00. Coordination is underway to
  connect Idaho to DOEnet and disconnect DOEBN.
  Firm order commitment date for delivery of DS-3
  circuit of 10/10/00.
• Carlsbad Area Office - No firm order commitment
  date on a T-1 circuit. US West states funding is
  not available for buildout. Availability
  escalated every 90 days to the local exchange
  carrier for follow-up. Next follow-up 08/00

Implementation Status - DS-3 Circuits Upgrades

• Savannah River - Firm order commitment date for
  delivery of DS-3 circuit, 06/06/00, missed.
  Escalated to local exchange carrier for status.
  No update available at the time of this report.
• NREL/Golden - Continuing to resolve site-related
  construction issues. Site management has approved
  the route for the fiber and discussions are being
  pursued with the building owners. No firm order
  commitment date on delivery of DS-3 circuit.

Implementation Status - DS-3 Circuits Upgrades

• Ohio Field Office - Awaiting approval from site
  to proceed with construction. No firm order
  commitment date. Sprint has provided a tentative
  date for delivery of the DS-3 circuit of July
  2000.
• Richland Operations Office - 06/07/00 Escalated
  missed firm order commitment (FOC) date of
  06/02/00 to GTE for status of delivery of DS-3
  circuit.
