• Do not choose by author (but can be helpful)
• Do not choose by affiliation (but can certainly
  be important)
• Do choose by what information is included
• Do choose by what support is given for points made

• Do not accept anything without sufficient proof
  (good argumentation)
• Just because something agrees with what you
  believe means it is necessarily rightprove it!

  commentaries
• The quality of the commentary is in the
  explanation. If there is little or no
  explanation, then it is not very good.

  sources.
• Original sources are preferred
• This helps you to know where to look for
  yourself.
• A book who only quotes other books without
  researching original sources, is not going to be
  very much help.
