Directions for Expert Gallery Walk

• Find your group
• Read with your group the topic that has been
  assigned.
• Brainstorm and discuss what your group as read.
• Decide what points about the reading was most
  important and write them down into your spiral.
• Pick up the poster that matches your topic.
• Pick up a sharpie from Mrs. Simons.
• Write the important points onto the poster
  neatly.
• Choose one member in your group that did not
  write on the poster to speak for your group.
• That person needs to stand by the poster and
  everyone else sits in assigned seat.
• Listen for further directions.1

• Leave all items at your desk
• Rotate one poster to the right (Speakers stay at
  posters)
• On the signal- speakers share the information
  that is on their posters.
• Non-speakers are not talking
• When speakers are finished- each person must ask
  a question about the poster.
• Do not interrupt group members. Wait your turn to
  speak.
• Repeat directions at each poster.
