What are Graphic Styles?

• Graphic Styles are essentially a way of saving
  colours and attributes for future use.

Saving and Applying a Style

• Select an object and choose New Style from the
  Graphic Styles panel.
• To Apply a style somewhere, select an object and
  click a style from the Graphic Styles panel.
• You can also drag the thumbnail from the
  Appearance panel into the Graphic Styles panel to
  create a new graphic styl.

To Edit a Style

• Once you have applied a style to an object you
  can edit it using the Appearance panel. Edit or
  restack the existing appearance attributes or add
  new attributes to change the appearance of the
  style.
• You can create a new Graphic Style from the
  changes you have made or redefine the existing
  style and objects already styled with it will
  reflect your changes.
• To redefine the style, choose Redefine Graphic
  Style (style name) from the Appearance palette
  menu.
