  client learns.
• Facts, unless made relevant are worthless. To
  make facts relevant, make it personable.

• Develop hooks to capture the clients
  attention.
• Learning takes place from the heart--learn to
  capture the heart.

• Learning only takes place when the client is
  ready to learn. Your job is to get them in that
  ready mode. Use the hook.
• Never use an activity unless you prepare the
  client ahead of time, and unless you process
  them afterwards.
• Health educators must remember that most of the
  health education they have received has been
  poorly taught.
