household related by birth, marriage and other
legal means, including such common family
    relations as parents, children, spouses,
    aunts/uncles, cousins, grandparents and in-laws
    of spouses.
  • How does it work? The first family member will be
required to pay the full International Dues with
up to four more qualifying family members
eligible to each pay one-half of the
    International Dues.

17
Family Dues Structure
  • Does the family dues rate apply to existing
members? Yes, as long as they qualify, see your
    club secretary.
  • What sort of voting rights do family members get?
Each member has a vote on club matters and each
one would be counted as individual delegates.
  • When will it be implemented? The Family
Membership Dues rate will take effect on 1
January 2007, for those Lions that are certified
as family members by 30 November 2006.

SERVICE TO OTHERSA thought to Remember
  • The service we render to others is really the
rent we pay for room on this earth.
  • It is obvious that man is a traveller that the
purpose of this world is not To have and hold
    but To give and serve.
  • There can be no other meaning.
