17PLAN GOAL
- To create an integrated Open Space Plan with
implementation strategies for Seattles next
hundred years which will enhance the health and
well-being of both our cultural and natural
environments. This vision of a regenerative green
infrastructure will strive to create a healthy,
beautiful Seattle while maximizing our economic,
social and ecological sustainability.

93How do we develop the next iteration of Seattles
Green Network, one that refines the visions and
engages a broader public? Who will continue the
advocacy and education, to continue creating
visions for what is possible? Who will help to
quantify what services and savings green
infrastructure can buy?How do we make effective
partnerships with the city, universities,
neighborhoods and other non-profits?How can a
new vision maintain vibrancy, consistency and
relevancy over time?
