4Place a piece of tape over any seams
5Wrap excess tape around the edges
6Place tape on top and bottom of envelope
7Fold tape over
8Place a piece of tape on both sides and fold over
9Taping of the envelope is complete
10Flip envelope over to the front

of contents on all 4 sides of inner envelope

envelope and repeat wrapping procedures with

The outer envelope labels cannot have an
individuals name, but they can have a title or
office symbols
18This classified package is now ready for
transport!
19- Points to remember
- Registered packages must be wrapped with paper
tape so that tape must visibly damage the
envelope or wrapper if removed and must
absorb the ink in a postmark impression.
DMM 2.4.6 - Cover all seams and edges with tape
- Outer envelope should not have any
individuals name, just title and/or office
symbols - Inner envelope should have individuals names
for both sender and addressee - Wrap any registered mail similarly whether it be
envelopes or boxes - Mark inner package with highest level of
classification of contents
