• For ease of use, students rated the ERES
  discussion board 4.6 (on a scale of 1-5)
• For value to their learning, students rated the
  discussion board 4.5

Some (24) Positive Comments

• I liked reading the comments of students and
  sharing my own ideas as well. Discussion boards
  create connections outside of class.
• The discussion board helped me to understand
  differing perspectives of people from my class
  and evaluate my own views better and to a deeper
  level than class discussions.
• I know I dont always talk in class so having a
  chance to post something was good

A few not so positive comments

• The only thing I didnt like was that it waited
  to tell you your message was posted so I sent a
  few messages twice. I used it at HFCC too! Liked
  both of them.
• It was effective for opinion sharing but as a
  learning tool it should have different content
  questions
• Coursetools is somewhat simpler however the idea
  of using discussion of any kind online or in
  class are always useful
