  • Sent in response to What other topics would you
    like addressed at the Forum?
  • No other topics. But I do want to ask you to
    begin using webinars and other cheaper,
    electronic strategies for professional
    development. We are SELDOM allowed to travel to
    anything and we need the information and the
    opportunity to learn from others. In this dire
    economic times, we would all benefit from
    webcasts, webinars and video streaming. Although
    it's not as much "fun" as the face to face
    training, it's all we are allowed to do. Thank
    you for considering this.

  • The forum in October was good, but too
    much...information overload. I'd prefer time to
    discuss and digest, before the next topic hits
    me. Also, WAY too much sit and get...add tabletop
    discussion time (do a one page discussion starter
    sheet) so folks can share ideas and
    strategies...I think it will engage us more and
    help with the mental processing of LOTS of
    information. My head hurt from the focused
    listening by the end of the day.
  • Please be sure that topics are applicable to all
    or most of us. The group that discussed TP
    articulation used SSI. Most states do not allow
    that, so it was a complete waste of time.
  • Incorporate a half-day based on the "great
    teachers' workshop" format? Just a thought.
  • This group is to be commended for planning a very
    professionally run event. Good Job.
