Problem

• What shape will fall the fastest or the slowest?
• Will the one with a hole in it still work?

Hypothesis

• I think that the square will fall the slowest and
  the triangle with a hole in it will fall the
  fastest.

Materials

• Trash bags
• Scissors
• String
• Washers
• 15 helpers
• 2 meter sticks

Procedure

• Cut six squares from trash bags.
• They should be 25cm on each side.

• Put a hole in each of the corners of the shapes.

Procedure

• Tie the string to the washer and parachute.

• Conduct the experiment. Record and observe
  results.

Observation

• I noticed that the square, square with hole, and
  triangle with hole never came in first.
• I noticed that the shapes came in the same spots
  a lot.
• I noticed that the circle came in first the most.
• I noticed that the triangle came in last the most.

Conclusion

• The ones with holes still works.
• The square was the slowest and the triangle was
  the fastest.

What I have Learned

• I have leaned how to use power point. That you
  can make Parachutes really easy and its fun!!
• I have leaned that it is hard to see which one
  fall first.
