Language Arts Letter Emphasis Oo. We are
focusing on the o sound like you hear in the
word pot. We also talk about the double oo
sound like you hear in the word book. Math We
will review math concepts covered so far this
year-money-time-numeration-shapes etc. Social
Studies We talk about holiday traditions around
the world. Upcoming Events Mark your calendar
for our holiday party on December 14th at 1230.
Everyone is welcome. We will enjoy singing and
eating some holiday treats! The illustrator
Michael White shares with our class about
illustrating books on December 15th. This is a
wonderful experience for the class. Remember your
library book is due on Friday. Remember to
return your Reading Folder on Wednesday! Keep
practicing the reading folder. I am delighted
with the progress the class is showing with their
reading. On Friday the 11th, the Bascomb Student
Council is selling popcorn for 25 cents. If you
would to purchase a bag, send you money . Please
label money, so I will know!
