Technology Information Exchange (TIE)
  • The Technology Information Exchange (TIE) Program
is an opportunity for two-way discussions on
Research and Development efforts between industry
and the ARCIC to facilitate the ARCIC mission.
  • The TIE is designed to explore industry RD
efforts, provide industry a mechanism to focus
RD efforts toward Army FOCs and Warfighter
Outcomes, and enhance Armys understanding of
    industrys RD efforts.
  • Director, Accelerated and Capabilities
Development Directorate hosts a 3 hour session
each month with a different company. The TIE is
attended by ACD Division Chiefs and other
    external agencies as appropriate.
  • The TIE is not a forum for a sales pitch or a
platform to request money for further research.
TIE results cannot be used in any form of
    negotiations.
  • A summary of discussions, approved by SJA, is
forwarded to the participating company as
feedback on the topics presented at the TIE.
