Levels of Participation in Peace and Justice
We are one with the wounded, the forgotten, the
ugly, the naked, the dying poor. We live with
them, work along with them, hold their heads and
their hearts in our hands.
Level 7 Solidarity
We make a cause our own cause. We lobby. We
speak out. We demonstrate. We make clear to all
we will suffer to whatever degree necessary to
achieve justice.
Level 6 Advocacy
We take part in direct programs to aid the
victims of social change.
Level 5 Direct support and relief
We provide material and/or financial help
support by letters and appeals by affirmation of
those in level five by encouragement and trust.
Level 4 Indirect support
Level 3 Evangelization
Being well informed, we inform others.
We meditate and pray/fast over the issues.
Level 2 Compassionate prayer and reparation
Level 1 Simple, yet accurate knowledge
We are well informed on the issues and know what
is going on.
