Rules USTA, STA and GTA tournament rules and
regulations and The Code will govern all play.
All matches will be the best of three sets with
the 12-point tie-break used at 6-all in all sets.
New balls must be used in third sets. Court
Facilities The hard courts at North Fulton
Tennis Center will be used. Play Singles play
will begin Saturday, May 24 at 1200 p.m. The
default time of 15 minutes will be strictly
enforced by the tournament referee. Please do
not enter if you cannot play at the assigned
times. Registration Prior to the match, each
player must present proof of USTA membership. A
copy of your current USTA membership card,
renewal check, or an application receipt not more
than 90 days old must be attached to your entry
blank. You are required to enroll with USTA
before your first match. You may enroll/renew
with USTA by calling 800-990-8782 or online at
www.usta.com. Online registration and payment of
tournament entry fees may be completed at
www.onelovetennis.com using VISA, MASTERCARD or
American Express.  Money Awards 10,000
prize money. Winners and finalists will be
awarded trophies.  Draw Singles draws will be
posted at the North Fulton Tennis Center Friday
May 23rd by 200 p.m. Each entrant is
responsible for his/her first match time by
personally visiting the Tennis Center or by
checking the Internet at www.onelovetennis.com.

Tennis Some of the most exciting, high-powered
tennis in the country happens every May at the
Atlanta City Open. Each year the tournament has
seen growth in the strength of its player base,
contributing to the fact that tennis fans almost
have to travel to a Grand Slam to see anything
better. This years tournament entrants will
again show why the Atlanta City Open is such a
shining star in Atlanta tennis. Benefiting the
Community One Love Tennis has established a
community initiative to build diversity in the
game of tennis and raise awareness and money for
outreach purposes.  One Love will create more
opportunities for youth of diverse backgrounds to
find a purpose through tennis. As a way of
giving back to the community, One Love founder
and tournament director, Turhan Berne, has teamed
with 11-Alive sportscaster Sam Crenshaw and the
Cartoon Network Tennis Club to bring tennis to
Atlantas youth and community programs by
creating the First Annual Atlanta City Open Kids
Day.

They're your favorite Cartoon Network pals, they
make you laugh and now you can learn how to join
the Club on Saturday, May 24 at the North Fulton
Tennis Center, site of the 2003 Atlanta City
Open. So parents, bring out all the kids, learn
to play tennis, and find out how they can join
the Club to get cool Cartoon Network Tennis Club
stuff, including Cartoon Network Tennis Club
backpack, choice of Scooby, Johnny Bravo or
Powerpuff Girls tee shirts, hat, water bottle,
Scooby bobblehead trophy, foam practice ball and
fun Tennis Activity Book with games tennis tips
for fun and safety. The Cartoon Network Tennis
Club is sponsored by the United States Tennis
Association and the Tennis Industry Association
