Nebraska Homeland Security

• FY2006 Applications is comprehensively based
  upon
• Supporting the National Preparedness Goals and
  Target Capabilities,
• Includes LETPP, SHSGP, MMRS, and CCP funds,
• At the county level, must have a regional
  focus, be inclusive of all local first responders
  and at least 10 is eligible for EMS.

• Electronic Application/available on the NEMA
  website,
• Applications are accepted from 27 April 2006
  until 1 June 2006,
• Applications will only be accepted in electronic
  format
• Applications will be based upon the Investment
  Justifications in the State Enhancement Plan.

• 4.125 Million in SHSGP
• 3 Million in LETPP
• 211,443.00 in CCP
• 464,660.00 in MMRS
• Based upon the submitted State Application, there
  is the possibility of more funding within LETPP
  and SHSGP-1 June 2006 will receive notification
  of additional funds.

  the State level.

• Investment 15 is the MMRS and applies to
  Lincoln and Omaha.

• Epidemiology and laboratory response
• Med Surge and Mass Prophylaxis capability
• Citizen Corp

• Local Jurisdictions can submit up to 7 Investment
  Justifications,
• Each Justification must be comprehensive.
• Benchmarks of previous grant applications must be
  current at time of submittal,
• Justifications will be prioritized on the basis
  of Risk, Threat and Need Identified, adherence to
  past program guidance and the scope of
  Regionalization.
